Byron Allen is no stranger to the field of entertainment. His passion for the media business began as a young kid when he would accompany his mother to work while she was employed as a publicist for NBC studios. He created his first stand-up comedy routine at the age of 14 while also starting to do comedy gigs around the local Los Angeles comedy scene. Even greater the young Allen was invited to join Jay Leno and David Letterman’s comedy writing team.

According to a USA Today report, this is now the ninth media company for Allen. He launched Entertainment Studios in 1993 with a weekly show titled Entertainers with Byron Allen. They also began selling advertisements to 32 television channels. By 2009 the company added six additional channels. Each channel is a 24-hour high definition outlet. The stations which include Pets.TV, Cars.TV, Recipe.TV and Comedy.TV have more than 160 million subscribers. They have most recently began expanding Entertainment studios by trying their hand at movie production.
